April through June represents the best hunting time for blue marlin in the Bahamas. Marsh Harbour and Harbour Island offer a good variety of accommodations, but the more remote or private islands do not, albeit those available usually are more than satisfactory and even quite nice.

Business Brokerage The private resort at Walker's Cay features its own air service, comfortable rooms, good dining and an excellent marina. Same with the Chub Cay Club on Chub Cay, although the Pocket is also accessible from Nassau and Fresh Creek on Andros. My usual hangout at Harbour Island is Valentine's Yacht Club, although the Romora Bay Club has a good rep too. A handful of small resorts anchor the southern end of Cat Island, with Hawk's Nest my choice. In Marsh Harbour I usually stay at the beautiful Abaco Beach Resort and Boat Harbour, although on my last visit to the area the Conch Inn hosted me, and I found it to be quite nice, situated on the main drag amid the trendy restaurants, lounges and gift shops along the harbor.
